For over forty years, True Gear and Spline has been working to provide the highest quality gear products possible for our significant customer base across the world. We are based in a 22,000 square foot facility in Cambridge, Ontario, and are constantly searching for ways to improve the quality of your production through our carefully crafted products. Gear cutting has been our expertise for decades, and we are proud of the impact we’ve had on our many, many customers.

For us at True Gear, there are two things that most impact effective gear cutting: a strong team and state-of-the-art machinery. This is why our team consists entirely of dedicated individuals who have been highly trained in the process of creating any and all types of gear imaginable. Our technicians are consistently working hard on a wide variety of standard and custom orders for our customers, and are well-respected in their field.

At True Gear, our gear cutting services are especially effective thanks to our investment in our facility and machines:

• Gleason Phoenix 400GH - This machine is a powerful vertical gear cutter capable of producing a normal module of 8mm, and a nominal work-piece diameter of 400mm. It is one of our most efficient machines, and we are very glad to have it in our facility.
• Mitsubishi GE20A - This machine works through a method of dry cutting that is uncommon across grinding machines, but very effective when paired with our skilled technicians.
• Twenty-Eight Gear Hobbers - Gear hobbing is a process by which the teeth of the gear are cut into the work-piece one by one, through a specialized tool designed for the task. Our vast array of machines that can perform this function means that our stocks of helical, bevel, spur, and other gears are always being created quickly and with top reliability.
